An outpatient clinic in New Jersey is seeking an internal medicine physician for immediate and ongoing coverage and is open to both locum and locum to perm candidates. Board certification and a New Jersey license are required. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am-4:30pm, with no call or weekends. The patient population ranges in age from 40-65 but consists mostly of older patients. The average case load is 3 patients per day, mostly preventive medical exams that take 45 mintues to 1 hour. The locum will wrap up and review with patients and spend the rest of the day writing patient reports. There is 1 other physician and support staff available.
